Max, Jenna, and Greg talked for a while before heading out the door. This was when they came in conflict with someone. The bartender walked out and shouted at them for not paying. “We don’t have any money,”
“Then why you come in here!?”
“We’re sorry,”
“You will have been,” the tender said in broken English.
A group of men walked out, they were muscular, but nothing in comparison to Max. Max walked in front, took one look, and walked back. Jenna pushed him back. She didn’t move him, but it was the intention that made him stay. He stepped out, the guys walked up to him and circled him. He was surrounded, he didn’t know how to fight. It was over. He was pounded by 5 muscular men. He tried to fight back, but with all of them he couldn’t do much.
Jenna and Greg watched, they were useless normally, it this was another level of it. Then, behind the siblings, stepped an old man. He wore a Dark Red Cloak. He had grey hair, it was long, as was his beard. He didn’t wear a pointy hat but looked like he should have one. He stepped beside them. The bartender ran back into the bar and locked the door. The men kept beating up Max. He grabbed his wooden staff with two hands and thrusted it into the ground. It created a wave of blue must that passed through all the men except Max. They suddenly started to cover in ice. The old man pulled Max out.
“Thank you,” Max said, “Why do such a thing??”
“Well, I’m your cousin,” Said the man, who is now obviously revealed to be Rich, Max’s cousin.
They chatted for a while, Rich kept looking at Jenna all over, Jenna kept kicking Rich in the shin.
Rich explained how he managed to wander undetected out of a dungeon. There was a sleeping dragon there. He retold the story quite dramatically, he said that the dragon threatened him, but he scared it off. This part was directed at Jenna, to impress her. Clearly he forgot the dragon was asleep.
