Sure enough, as Derrick made his way through the main lobby, he spotted his parents and sister coming back in with the others who had taken the tour. Predictably, his mom blushed and looked away while his Dad hid a slight chuckle and his sister ogled. He saw his sister's eyes narrow as recognition came to her and then she gasped out "Derrick!?" Both parents jerked their heads around looking for the boy they expected before doing a comical double-take when they realized who his sister was staring at.
"Don't be silly, dear. That's not..." His mother's voice trailed off as she finally recognized him as well. Her 'Derrick!" was more shocked, while Dad stared in disbelief.
Grinning, Derrick strolled over to the group. "I got down to business while you guys were wasting time on a tour."
"But you're... you're..." His mother struggled for words.
"Part horse!" He finished for her. "You should have seen me thirty minutes ago - I was almost a centaur's personal horse-boy, way more animal than human."
"Naked!" His mom finally blurted out.
He looked down and shrugged. "Yeah. Look around, Mom. This place is clothing optional. Didn't you guys tell us this was going to be a special vacation?"
"But...." His mom remained flustered, but his father managed a grin. "I would say you have a definite head start. But, Derrick. Have you seen what you look like? I mean, you were a good-looking kid. Right now you are, um..."
"Ugly!" His sister chimed in cheerfully. "We come to a place where you can do or be anything, and you choose to be ugly. That's my brother!"
"Well, yeah. Ugly." His dad shrugged. "We said you could both do what you wanted here as long as you didn't hurt anyone else or get hurt yourselves." Then he shook his head. "Kids. Well, let's go find out where our rooms are. Unless you are already set up in a stable?"
