The Queen of Furries

added by Alphagor 4 years ago A BM Anthro

Circe could not have picked a better place to start building her kingdom. Back on her island of Aeaea, she had to wait for sailors to stumble across her island before she could turn them into the beasts they truly were inside (which tended to be pigs more than anything else). Back then, Circe hadn't considered leaving them half-human. It was probably for the best as swine-men would hardly have made good company, what with begging her to be changed back, trying to kill her (as if she could be killed), or leaving a mess around the place.

But in this new age, there were people who wanted to be animals, half-animals anyways. And so many of them had conveniently gathered at a convention, which made it easy for Circe to start turning into the beast-men their costumes resembled. Some of them were dressed as the opposite sex and became that when they transformed. But they seemed happy with it and Circe wasn't going to deny them. These beast-men made much more effective servants and worshipers. Though the worshiping was starting to get a little wearying.

Vixi, the first furry to be transformed and Circe's most devoted handmaiden, approached her mistress. "My goddess, all the humans have been transformed now," she said.

"That took longer than I imagined," said Circe, glancing across the convention hall. Instead of people dressed up animal costumes, she saw all sorts of anthro animals, many in colors completely unlike their natural counterparts. More than a few of them were in the midst of heavy make-out sessions. Circe didn't doubt there were some furries off mating right now, but she had decreed that such actions shouldn't be done where she could see them. She wasn't in the mood to watch an orgy at the moment.

"And may I say that all are grateful for your most divine gift of letting us be who we always dreamed to be," said Vixi.

"Yes, yes," said Circe, waving a hand dismissively. Their gratitude was welcome, but it got annoying with repetition. "My task here is complete, now it is time for the next one."

"And what would that be?" asked Vixi.

"Finding a more permanent dwelling for us," said Circe.

"Does this hall not suit you?" asked Vixi.

"It served my purpose, but this is not a place meant to be stayed in too long. Anyways, while my magic makes the rest of the world see your kind as nothing strange, my enemies will become suspicious and will seek me here. I need a place that I can fortify and defend while continuing to expand my worshipers," said Circe, "Do you know of any suitable places for your kind?"

Vixi scratched her head and asked, "What about the old amusement park?"

"Amusement park?" asked Circe.

"Yes, the one that you can see from the boardwalk. They shut it down when the economy went under. Perhaps you could use that," said Vixi.

Circe rubbed her chin in thought. An abandoned amusement park sounded really cliche. Merlin and his brats would find her easily. But she could shore up her defenses and it would be an easy way to lure more people in to be transformed. Of course, the people who'd want to be transformed, best not cause trouble by changing the unwilling. Probably shouldn't curse the place so people would make literal jackasses of themselves. And as long as she can avoid disaster like, say, a hungry cyclops eating her customers, she could start quite a thriving business and gain legions of followers.

"You will show me this amusement park," said Circe, "If it pleases me, it shall become my new seat of power."

"Oh, that sounds like fun," said Vixi, "What are you going to call it?"

Circe would have to think it over. She couldn't call it 'Aeaea', no one would be able to pronounce it. And 'Circe's Carnival' and 'Cirque du Circe' just sounded so unimaginative. "I shall give it more thought," said Circe. 'What I wouldn't give for a visit from the Muses right now,' she thought. "For now, let us see if this amusement park is worthy of the power of Circe," she said aloud.

"Only a true palace would be worthy of your glory and beauty, oh most generous of enchantresses," said Vixi.

"Let's...just...go..." said Circe, her eye twitching with annoyance.

"Yes, my lady," said Vixi.
