"No" said Sharon.
"But I need you to do these!" said her co-worker Lacy. "I have a hot date tonight and I need to get ready!"
"Those are your responsibility" Sharon answered. "I have enough of my own work to do. I'm done covering for you." It felt so good to be able to stand up to a bully. "Thanks, Shawn" she whispered to herself as Lacy walked away.

Edwin's room looked nice. Clean sheets on the bed, all the soda and beer cans neatly packed and left on the curbside for recycling, the floors vacuumed and the dishes washed. Shirts and pants freshly laundered and hung neatly in the closet. For the first time the space looked like the person living there actually cared about it. "Thanks, Elise" Edwin whispered to himself.
Just then his phone buzzed with a text. He nearly fainted when he saw it was from Shawn.
