Tara and the Charlestons climbed into Tara's car once the finished packing their things into the car. Tara started the engine and the group drove off away from the police station. The four of them rode in silence with the radio making the only noise. Karen watched from the back seat as Tara drove through town. They drove through the main part of town, and Moe could see his soon-to-be pizzeria, although there weren't any signs on it yet. It wasn't long before they went to the other side of town, and Tara turned the car into a side dirt road. The road wasn't well maintained, and Nichole noticed that there weren't that many houses around. It was clear to her that they were really going into the middle of nowhere.
After about 15 minutes of driving down a bumpy dirt road, Tara finally arrived at a cabin that was almost completely surrounded by the woods of Moon Lake. "We're here," she announced as she turned off the car. The Charlestons climbed out of Tara's car and took a look at the cabin. It was a bit rustic, but it was also rather big for a single person.
"You live here?" Moe asked.
"Yeah, I bought this not too long ago when I became a specialist," Tara replied. "It isn't much but it's home." Moe raised an eyebrow when he heard that.
"It seems to be a bit big for one person," Nichole commented.
"Yeah, but I hope to find someone one day, and I like to plan for the long term," Tara replied as she opened the trunk of her car. The Charlestons worked to get all of their stuff out.
"So, um," Tara started, "this'll be your home while the FBI do their thing. The chief wanted to remind you that you aren't to leave this home for any reason until the sting's over." She handed a key to Moe.
"Are you going to be staying with us or..." Nichole asked.
"Oh don't worry about that. I've made arrangements with my folks. I'll be staying with them until this thing's over." Tara replied with a smile. She then took a breath as she remembered the things that Chief O'Hara told her. "So, just to recap. You are to stay in the cabin at all times. Both during the day and especially at night."
"Why at night?" Karen asked.
"Let's just say that in this part of Moon Lake, with it being somewhat isolated from the rest of town, the were population gets a bit more active. Just stay indoors, or else you might see something you don't want to see." Tara paused and then continued, "If there's anything you need, let me know and I can make arrangements. I'll make sure that you have plenty of food, but let me know what you want to eat. If there's anything you need or want from your home, let me know."
"What about guests?" Karen asked.
"You can have visitors, but they need to be cleared," Tara replied. "As for your enrollment to the high school, we have requested a stay until this thing's over. We're still working with the Mayor's office about the Mandatory Were law to get a temporary exemption."
Karen then asked, "What if I'm ready to decide on being a were?"
Tara took a breath and replied, "Well, some arrangements would have to be made, such as getting your birth control pills and finding someone to change you, but..." she paused for a moment, "it wouldn't be impossible. Although, I would advise for you to wait until after the sting's over. Again, if you have anything you need, you need to let me know first." She looked over to the Charlestons and asked, "Are there any further questions?" The Charlestons remained silent, indicating that they didn't have any further questions. "Well, if that's all," she said as she clipped off a key on her keychain and handed it to Moe. "Here's the key to the cabin. Again, I need you three to stay inside at all times. I'll check up on you guys regularly, and if there's anything you need, please let me know."
"We will. Thanks." Moe replied as he started to move stuff into the cabin. It wasn't long before the Charlestons had brought in the rest of their belongings into the cabin.
