As the start of his tail began to grow from his back, Ollie felt a pins-and needles sensation all over his body, and soon enough tiny orange and white furs began to poke through his skin. Ollie felt his heart beating faster, even as he raised a hand....watching as fingers started to curve into claws. He was doing it, he was really becoming a cat! But then a thought struck him. What if he got stuck. Being a full animal, he couldnt put on the ring or take it off, or even communicate. He couldn't take that risk, not so fully. Glancing around quickly, he saw his junior high sneakers still on the floor. His feet were already starting to shift, grow fur and claws and his adult clothes were still a bit too far that he feared running to reach hem.. Stumbling a few steps, he manages to grab the sneakers with his fingers even as they were starting to get a little stubby, and stuff his shifting feet into them.
In an instant, everything shifted, the world began to grow around him even as the fur swarmed his changing body. His fingers distended again, though still covered in fur, even as pads grew on his now pawlike digits. His feet, in turn slid upwards, digitigrade in the sneakers, but as he shrank into them he felt the fur and claws and pads forming inside, though they still somehow fit. His nose shifted as his face pushed into a muzzle and he felt his ears swiveling atop his head as his senses sharpened.
Then it was suddenly over....and olliver stared in the mirror. Standing there staring back was a young looking humanoid tabby, complately naked save for a collar and a human boy's sneakers. From head to tail, he looked like someone had merged and melded a human with a cat. Oliver could not believe it. He flexed fingers and toes, felt his tail twitch behind him. He had done it, he had become this hybrid, albeit a young hybrid. He felt giddy again, staring down at his naked body. Somehow this was better than he imagined ....the ring still fit on his finger. After a moment of just observing his body he decided...
