He had gone big the first time with Ian but now he decided to go small.
"Of course," Pat said. "I wish..." he turned around and once again whispered into Caden's ear. "...you were all a foot tall."
"What? No..." Caden's voice diminished as he found himself falling. At first his clothes didn't shrink with him and for a split second he was naked and tiny on the floor. But then the world shifted and he, Ian, and Ben were standing around in perfectly proportioned clothes. They were a foot tall on the floor of Pat's basement. In front of them, looking like the size of a large rug, was the game they'd just lost. Way over them loomed Pat the giant... until he squatted down to get a closer look.
"Ahhh!" Caden screamed as he jumped away at the sight of his giant friend.
"What's gotten into you?" Ben asked. "He's barely made a wish yet. Just some chips."
"Don't you like chips?" Ian asked. "I know those giant ones are harder for us to chew but they're so good."
Pat looked down at Caden and smirked. They alone knew that all the boys had once been the same size.
