In an ironic twist... the three brainwashed children... began crying rivers for the death of their 'mother'. Hikari sighed, 'This is never easy. If this was just Lilith, I'd say better to have Jack with better parents... but for Merlin and Katie, I'll restore all three of them. Consider yourself lucky Lilith, it's for Katie's sake alone Jack is restored to you, not your promises of mass murder if I defy you.'
Rexie for her part was coming around... she'd only feared Mia's personality would be erased by Yomi, effectively killing her, and maybe, just maybe, her memories of her uncle might still exist. Maybe Mia could claim the residue magic from the dead kitsune for herself! What a glorious witchling she'd become. Rexie sighed. 'I'm acting like her parents, deciding her fate for her... dammit... If she was any other human, I don't think I'd mind manipulating or stringing her along... but she isn't any other human. She's Mia. I'll let her decide for herself what she wants to become, trickster fox, a chaos loving sister-imp, a wonderful witchling... or just a little girl good with computers who can grow up to become the CEO of her programming company... I'll ... I'll let her chose.'

"Wait!" Mary yelled. "There was three of them!"
Baba Yaga turned to see the fox pre-schooler who had been the one operating the gatling gun, now hidden underneath his own body armor ... who was now holding a grenade, he pulled the pin. "For Rodger and Bernie!" He shouted out in the voice of the child he was now.
The grenade blasted Baba Yaga back, he flew through the air, and landed with a her entire body smoking on the ground, her body twitched as she laid flat, annoyed at how her body didn't feel like listening to her orders to move. "That was... unpleasant... girls, unless your rings have the power to give them the minds of children as well, I suggest another strategy for the rest that are coming this way." The old witch said without getting up.
