Mr. Lexington was doing a good job instructing Ling. She now had enough of a grasp of English to be understood, if you could get through her thick, Korean accent. She also knew enough English to know why people were nervous around her and Mr. Hyun, but she had an idea that surprised both Mr. Hyun and North Korea. While there wasn't a chance for there to be Animalian Super Soldiers (nor will there ever be), the farm where Ling was raised would be converted into an embassy/colony for Animalia. In return North Korea had to recognize the rights that all Animalians would have, as well as the ten Edicts of Animalia (much to North Korea's chagrin).
After that negotiation, Ling and Mr. Hyun were able to enjoy the Spring Carnival.

Ling was amazed at all of the things that there were to do at the Spring Carnival, and plenty to laugh at. Mainly at all the idiotic things guys were doing to try to impress female Animalians. But because we all know about what they were doing, I won't put them here.
But fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, Mr. Hyun wasn't immune to such mess ups. Ling wanted Mr. Hyun to get her a stuffed animal at the test-your-strength, but Mr. Hyun grabbed the wrong mallet and when he tried to use it, he overbalanced and fell backwards, but fortunately this kind of thing was to be expected, so he ego was only slightly bruised, and his mess-up wouldn't count against him. After he got the right mallet, he was able to win a large plush deer for Ling, which she really appreciated.

While the colony in North Korea wasn't the "Super Soldier" solution they were looking for, it could be considered at least a start. Though fortunately one message from the PR-MD offices to North Korea helped lay the groundwork for better relationships with the rest of the world, and to stop considering using Animalians as Super Soldiers.
"If real life was like TV, movies, or video games, we wouldn't have them." After reading that, the President of North Korea was able to step away from his plans for Animalian super soldiers, at least for the time being, and allow the colony plan to develop.
