Marcus woke up early that morning. He was worried that Jeanie could have done something to him, so he went directly to the bathroom and looked for something odd. Fortunately, it wasn't the case.
When he left the bathroom, his cabinmates, Wally, a small blonde staker, and Hoagie, a fat brown-haired geek, were already awake and chatting. As 12 years old boys, they were talking mostly about videogames and memes, and occasionally making lame jokes about sex and adult stuff.
"Did you hear the rumor?" Hoagie said. "A famous movie director is going to film here!"
"Wow, cool!" Wally smiled. "I hope they let us see the filming or even better, participate as extras or something like that!"
"That's possible." Hoagie replied. "I've heard the director use to work with low budgets, so he commonly hires people from the surroundings. Do you want to take a look?"
"Of course!" Wally grinned. "What do you say Marcus? We could be the next superstars!"
"Hmm, it's sounds interesting and we don't have anything else planned for today so... Don't problem!" Marcus smiled and when they were ready to leave, the guys went to the filming set near the lake.
"That's the movie director." Hoagie pointed to a tall blonde woman talking with a cameraman. "She seems busy."
"Hi guys." The director turned back and noticed them. "It's good to see you. We need some extra people and you're the first ones to come here. Do you want to be part of the movie?"
"Oh yeah, awesome!!" Wally jumped of happiness. "Of course we want!!"
"That's wonderful!" The director smiled. "My sister is in charge of the casting, she is that tent. Can you go with her? Tell her that I sent you and she will give your roles and instructions. Thank you."
The director return with the cameramen while the boys went to the tent that she indicated them to go.
"That was easy!" Hoagie grinned.
"Maybe, too easy." Marcus had his doubts.
"Hi Marcus! Hi guys!" The casting director greeted them as soon as they entered the tent. "You want to be in the movie, isn't? Well, you're lucky today because we have a few interesting roles available!"
"J-Jeanie?!!" Marcus shouted when he realized who she was. "What are you doing here?"
"Do you know her?" Hoagie asked Marcus.
"Yes, I love to work with him." Jeanie replied instead of Marcus. "So, what do you say boys? Are you ready for the cameras?"
"Sure!" Both Hoagie and Wally replied in unison and Marcus had to agree with his friends.
"By the way, what kind of movie are yiu filming?" Marcus asked and Jeanie grinned before she replied.
