Alex wakes up to feel a hand lightly slapping her face. You look up to see a frantic Uncle Jack leaning over you. “Hey, are you alright? I found you here unconscious! What happened?”
“I- We tried on a costume,” Alex mumbles uncertainly, sitting up and rubbing her forehead.
“Are you Alex or John? And where’s your cousin?”
“I’m…both of us.”
Uncle Jack looked confused. “Both of you?”
Alex gives him a guilty smile. “Yeah, a lot of these costumes are too big for each of us so we both got into one. John’s my legs.”
You want to apologize, but the horrified expression on your uncle’s face distracts you. “Y-You both got into ONE COSTUME!? And a FEMALE ONE!?” He almost shouts, making you and Alex jump.
By now, you can feel Alex’s heart speeding up as she grows nervous. “Did we do something wrong, Uncle Jack?”
“Was this costume labeled as a two-person?”
Alex thinks back. “Uh, not really. It was next to the two-persons, but…”
Your uncle grabs Alex’s wrist and hauls her to her feet. “Quickly, I have to take a look at this.” As he pulled you two back towards the front area, he mutters, “Your mother’s going to kill me. Both of your mothers!”
Bringing out a table, he tells you to lay down on top. Once you do so, he grabs a magnifying glass from the counter and passes it over you. However, instead of gazing through it, he puts his hand over the lens and closes his eyes. His brow furrows in concentration, but he remains quiet. When the lens passes over your groin, he pauses, his eyes shooting open. Gulping, he says, his voice shaky, “Um, I‘m going to have to ask an embarrassing question , but I need you to answer truthfully. Did you do anything…sexual right after you changed?”
You both blush deep red. “M-maybe? Just with my-er, our self. Does that count?”
Your uncle closes his eyes and nods. “Okay, I need you to say, ‘Costume revert.’ It should remove the costume, and then we can see what happened.”
“Uncle Jack? What’s wrong?”
He gives you a pleading expression. “Please, just do it.”
You sense that Uncle Jack is holding back something important, but before you can ask him about it, Alex says, “Costume revert.”
