Chad dozed off at some point. He was awakened by the cab doors of the van slamming, and the engine starting. He was totally in the dark, as the black walled van interior blotted out all light. Oh, right, he was the black rubber interior coating the walls. The van rolled to a stop. The engine turned off.
He could hear voices outside the van, but they were muffled by his body insulating the walls. Then both back doors of the van flew open, and four guys in green and white West High Letterman's jackets climbed in. His eyes went wide.
