"I'm not gonna die this waaaaaaay...." Colin wheezed.
He reached into the back of the car and grabbed the box of weapons.
He loaded a bolt into the crossbow and handed Amy the shotgun.
They wearily nodded, the sun's rays bearing down on them.
Colin leaned back, shakily lifting the crossbow to just the right angle.
He closed his eyes tight...
The nursing bimbo let out a bloody cough as the back of her neck was punctured by a bolt.
Out the other door, Amy rolled down the window and shot the fourth bimbo in the face blood splashing against her cheek.
The other bimbos looked on as the milk stopped flowing from the head bimbo's nipples.
They charged the busted window, as Amy meekly, slowly dropped two more shells in.
The first bimbo tried climbing through the driver's side window.
Colin managed to draw his pistol and shot right before her arm could grab him.
He swung it around and fired at the other bimbo grabbing onto Amy.
They both passed out in the heat.
As a fifth figure stood over them...

"Hey... wake up..." a voice said.
Colin groaned with a severe headache.
"Come on, get up.... you're alright..." the voice said again.
The two blinked their tired eyes in pain as they realized they were inside the gas station.
"Come on, the slushes are melting." said a guy in a vest.
The two took a long sip as they groggily looked around.
'What happened?" Colin asked.
"You passed out in the heat and I took you inside." the man said.
"Our stuff?' Amy asked.
"In the box over there." the vested guy said as he pointed to the box of weapons.
"Good..." Amy sighed before resting her head on the cushion he'd given her.
Then she realized that cushion was Colin's lap and bolted up.
'What the- why was my head on his lap?!" Amy asked.
"Thought you'd want to wake up to your boyfriend instead of my dog's old bed." the guy explained.
"He's not- we aren't- ugh, nevermind. Is there a working car around here?" Amy asked.
"My car's over there." he said, pointing to the jeep sitting by the gas pump.
"Yeah, thanks. We just need a ride to Phoenix...." Amy sighed after a big sip of slush.
"What for?" the guy asked.
"I'm heading to my Grampa's place." Amy explained.
"Ohhh, family reunion?" the guy asked as he shoved a chair in front of a door.
"Nnnnno...." Amy said suspiciously, "He has a bunker."
"Oh cool, I alwaaaaaaaaays wanted to meet a prepper!" the guy said as he saw the door shake, pressing up against it.
"Okay, well I'm already pushing it bringing him, soooo....." Amy said as the door began shaking violently.
"OH THat's fine, I mean, you guys don't need to bring me, just thought it'd be COOOOOOl... cool to see a bunker." the guy smiled.
Our duo knew he was trying to hide an oncoming horde, but they needed a ride, and he got them out of the heat.
