Jim decided to go home first. There he could test the balloon with some semblance of privacy.
When he reached his house, he passed through the living room, where his 2 younger twin brothers, Walt and Cal, were sitting watching TV. They were 8 years old and didn't get out much.
Jim was a member of a big family. His parents had always wanted lots of boys, and they had gotten their wish. His oldest brother, Scott, was 27 and a practicing attorney with his own wife and kids. Then there was Matthew, 22 years old and wrapping up college. Next was Isaac, who was 17 years old and a high school senior. Another set of twins, Wyatt and David, were 14, then came Jim, and finally Walt and Cal. All in all, 8 kids over 19 years.
Problem for Jim was that, smushed in between all those others, it was difficult to gain his parents' attention. He wondered if his new balloon could help change that.
Jim went to his room and locked the door. He told the balloon, "Control my age and muscles," and blew. Instantly he felt a sensation of growth overcome him. He continued to blow. Finally when he looked up he saw a super buff 20-year-old man, Jim decided not to stay this way - for now. He deflated back to normal.
