Lisa, Ann, Maddie, and Kumiko all raced towards the door when they suddenly got stopped by an employee who was near the door.
"Excuse me little girls, but do you have a grown up with you?" The employee asked the 7 year-old girls as they looked at each other in confusion.
"Um....yes." Young Lisa answered him.
"So where are they?"
"Outside."
"Well until I actually see a responsible adult with you four, I'm afraid you can't come in." The employee said as the girls all left the building and stood outside the door looking in. Ann slapped Lisa on the back of the head.
"Ow, what was that for?" Lisa asked.
"What do you think? You made us all the same age to have a 'good time together' but we're stuck outside Chuck E Cheese, because we don't have a grown up with us." Ann said.
"Easy, I'll just make one of us older again." Lisa said.
"Not me, I'm still mad at you for bringing us here." Ann said.
"Me either, I don't think I could pass off as any of your moms' anyway." Kumiko said.
"I'm sorry Lisa, but I really wanted to be a kid for more than five minutes." Maddie said.
"Well, I'm not doing it either, so great, we've ruined this girls night already." Lisa said.
The girls suddenly heard some sniffling coming from around the side of the building and saw what looked to be a homeless African American woman in her early sixties. Her hair was a dirty grey, and the woman's clothes looked to be very old and dirty.
Lisa slowly began approaching her, though Ann cautioned her sister to be careful.
"Uh, excuse us lady, are you okay?" Little Lisa asked the woman.
The woman looked up to see four sweet young girls all looking at her with caring eyes.
"Oh, hello there. Did you say am I okay? Well to be honest, not really. I've been out on the streets for nearly 40 years now, just traveling from place to place. But I tell you girls, I did some really dumb decisions when I was a young girl that led me to where I am now. I just wish I could go back and start over again, I would be a better person." The woman said.
Ann, Lisa, Kumiko, and Maddie all walked away from the woman feeling bad for her and talked among themselves.
"Lisa, I know what you're thinking, are you sure you want to do this?" Ann asked her sister.
"Come on Ann, look at the woman, she could use a second chance." Kumiko said.
"Well....I guess, but let's not make this a habit okay." Ann nodded as Lisa turned to use her ring on the elderly homeless woman.
The young girls watched as the elderly woman stood up as she got tired of sitting down. The wrinkles on her skin began to disappear as it became more and more smooth, her dirty grey hair became a short black Afro cut as her raggedy clothes transformed into a bright orange shirt with a white belt and she wore a white jacket over it. The girls watched further as she regressed in age from 62 to her mid fifties then her early forties, before finally stopping at 28 years old, and she was certainly a looker. As an added bonus, she got a red purse with all her personal belongings inside of it. Lisa also used the ring to make it so the four of them and the woman all knew each other. Her name was Renee Wittmann and she had been a friend of Lisa's, she had called her ahead of time to tell her that her young distant relative and her three friends would be arriving at the restaurant soon.
"Well, hello there, are you related to Lisa Turner?" Renee asked little Lisa.
"Yep, I certainly am. This is my twin sister, and our friends, Kumi and Maddie." The girls all waved to her.
"Well it certainly is nice to meet you all. Come on girls, let's go inside and have some fun, woo!" Renee said excitedly to the girls.
Renee Wittmann escorted the four girls inside and told them to stay in sight of her while they went to play.
