Is is this time travel

added by O 4 years ago O Mental Reality alteration

“Jeff,” Jesse questioned. “What the hell is going on? Why do you look so young?”

Jeff could only smirk as his bewildered teenage sister approached, gaping at his appearance. “What’s the matter Jesse,” Jeff said. “You look confused.”

“That’s because I am you putz,” she huffed. “I mean seriously, how the hell do you look so young?”

Jeff now tried to contain a laugh as his now 16 year old sister gazed at him in frustration. “Okay Jesse,” he said. “Can you tell me what you it is?”

“What kind of a dumbass question is that,” she exclaimed.

“Humor me,” Jeff responded. Jesse groaned in annoyance, taking a deep breath before looking at her older brother. “It’s 2033,” she said. Jeff smiled, taking out his phone and punching up the date. “Yeah think again sis,” he smiled.

Jesse stared at Jeff’s cellphone, her eyes going wide as she saw what today’s date was. “2019,” she whispered. “No, that can’t be. I was only 2 back then. How the hell can I be a teenager in 2019?!?”

“No idea,” Jeff smiled. “Maybe it’s time travel.” Jesse frowned, giving her brother a critical look. “Okay what did you do,” she grumbled.

“Nothing,” Jeff lied. Jesse though did not believe her brother looking him over critically. “Bull,” she mumbled. “You’ve always been the prankster in the family. Your up to something, I can sense it.”

Jeff said nothing as she looked back at the three teenage girls sitting in the living room. “And who the hell are they,” she asked. “I mean they look familiar, I just can’t place the faces.”

“Why don’t you go ask them,” Jeff smirked. Giving her brother a cautious look, Jesse now approached the bewildered girls sitting in the living room. “Um hey,” she said cautiously. “I’m Jesse. Jesse Vance, what are your names?”

Jamie turned scowling at the blond teen. “What’s it to you,” she growled. “You a narc or something?”

“Okay what the hell are you talking about,” Jesse exclaimed. “I just want to know your name and what year it is Okay. Save the hardass shit for someone else.”

“Jamie,” she said. “Jamie Mitchell and it’s 1994.”

“Mitchell,” Jesse mumbled. “That’s moms maiden name.” Jesse rubbed her eyes as she now looked at the juvenile delinquent in front of her. “How old are you?”

“16,” Jamie huffed. “I’d have my license by now but my mom is such a bitch.”

“Holy shit,” Jesse whispered, turning to Jeff. “Jeff that girl is mom!” Jeff decided to play along, feigning shock at seeing his 16 year old mother. “If that’s mom then who are they?”

Jesse now turned to Abigail, the hippy teen now casually gazing around the living room. “I told Sarah that was a bad batch of mushrooms,” she whispered. “Um excuse me,” Jesse said with a smile. “Can you tell me your name, age and what year it is?”

“Whoa that’s a pretty trippy question to ask,” Abigail giggled. “But okay, I’m Abby McClane, I’m 16, and it’s 1966.”

“Wait did you say McClane,” Jamie exclaimed, to which Abby nodded. “What the hell that was my moms maiden name!” As Jamie and Abby began to talk, Jesse turned in stunned silence towards Jeff. “1966,” she whispered. “Jeff, grandma was 16 in 1966 and her name is Abby. How the hell can grandma be a teenager, and a hippy to boot.”

Jeff shrugged as Jesse gazed in bewilderment at the two teens talking amongst themselves. “Well,” Jeff said, hiding a smile. “If that’s mom and grandma, than who’s that.”

“I’m afraid to ask,” Jesse sighed as she watched the girl push her glasses up her nose. Slowly Jesse now approached the quiet girl, trying to give her a reassuring smile. “Hi,” Jesse said sweetly. “I’m Jesse, Jesse Vance. Can you tell me your name, age and what year it is?”

“Okay,” Elizabeth said, slightly confused by what was happening. “My name is Elizabeth Blackwell, but everyone calls me Lizzy, I’m 16, and it’s 1938.”

“Elizabeth Blackwell,” Jesse said, slightly confused. “Jeff, what was great grandmas name again and where did she live?”

“Great grandmas name was Elizabeth,” Jeff said. “And she grew up in New Jersey. I think it was Perth Amboy, New Jersey.”

Lizzy gaped at Jeff as he said those words. “Wait,” She stammered. “How do you know where I live? Have been following me? Is this a kidnapping?”

Jesse gaped at the teen trying to reassure her they hadn’t before turning once more to her brother. “Jeff,” she whispered. “That’s our great grandma. Just like that’s grandma and mom. I don’t know how this happened but somehow all of us have been sent to our living room in 2019.”

“What in the devil is she talking about,” Lizzy asked, slightly flustered as she now stood next to Jesse. “2019. That’s preposterous and what does she mean grandmother and mother? I’m not married, I’ve only just meant Robert McClane, he hasn’t even kissed me yet.”

“Did you say Robert McClane,” Abby asked, to which Lizzy nodded. “Whoa freaky. My parents are Robert and Elizabeth McClane. Wow, I need to lay off the shrooms, this is the craziest trip I’ve ever been on.”

Jeff stepped back slightly, a smirk on his face as the four teenage girls now began to talk amongst themselves. So far his experimentation with the Chronovac was proving to be quite entertaining.
