You open your eyes and turn to your right seeing your twin sister sleeping next to you in the same bed. You try to slide out of bed without waking her only to feel a tugging on your right side. You look down and find your shoulder attached to hers. You use your left arm to remove the covers and see your completely merged with your twin sister. You were both wearing the same white lace night gown. The only indication of you two being separate people were your individual identical heads. The only thing you could control was the left arm and left leg of your shared body.
You both did everything together, wore the same clothes. Played together. Ate the same food. Got dressed together. Went to the bathroom at the same time. You never had a moment alone from your sister Suzy. This was how it had always been since you were born a Siamese twin. Attached forever with no way for the doctors to separate you without killing you both. By this point it was too late for that. You had grown up together and loved one another like any sisters. Sure you fought, but being forced to share a body since day one tended to make you two make up quicker than most. The doctors assured your parents there would be no health risks of having two heads, however even they couldn’t predict that each of them would get exactly half of the nervous system to control. Generally with Siamese twins, one would be dominant and the other would just be along for the ride. But for whatever reason you were each evenly matched and controlled one arm and one leg.
Suzy woke up and stared at you. “Suzan?” She asked groggily “Why are you up? Need to use the bathroom again?” She asked blinking away the tired ness.
You shook your head. “No Suzy.” You say calmingly “Just a dream, I’ll tell you it in the morning. Go back to sleep.” Suzy turns away and passes out. You let out a sigh looking up at the glowing star covered ceiling.
Tomorrow was a big day for Suzan and Suzy...
