Well there was something about the name Strawberry Fields
something other then the tune
that nagged at Perkins memory, something that Ultra officers had mentioned to him a while back.
So whilst the crew argued rather to trick bimbos or just waste em
Perkins looked at Strawberry's drivers licence, which she had left carelessly on the desk.
According to the D/L she'd been born in 1995
which jibed with her looks.
So Perkins did some more thinking and then typed in the search terms
Ultra Fields 2001 and Expedition
into the search engine
and soon the monitor pulled up a old photo of a Dr Cloverleaf Fields and her six year old
daughter Strawberry,who were
heading south to a island just off the Amazon River.
A little more digging and the machine pulled up a Ultra report prepared by Cloverleaf Fields on her Expedition.
The wording in the report chosen by the Ultra scientist
were more diplomatic then Colin would have used
but basically Dr Cloverleaf, her six year old daughter Strawbeery
and 33 toughened Navy SEALS had gone on a expedition in 2001 to the Lost Island of the Wild Bimbos and never
returned.
Or so history said
Perkin thought as he looked at a grownup Strawberry again.
World events in September of 2001 had shifted the President and Pentagons concerns, and somehow
the Lost Fields Expedition had been overlooked and finally forgotten.
