When the masters emerged they caused all sorts of natural disasters to happen from within the ground beneath everyone’s feet. Earthquakes and volcanoes raged worldwide like the apocalypse, but soon that was all drowned out when they revealed themselves.
The masters were in fact members of an ancient reptilian race that we all know as dragons in all forms and types. To the east there were flying serpents that commanded storms and were as wise as they were skilled with a new energy only describable as magic. Towards Europe and Africa were wyverns and wyrms, and although sentient, mostly kept to their traditional instincts and have claimed palaces and great landmarks as their homes. Then to the west were the popular and more traditional style of dragon with four legs and two large wings that dominated the lands. The western species were not as skilled in magic as those in the east, nor as ferocious as those that dwelled towards the western portion of the old world continents, but they had a balance between the two and are highly sociable with both humanity and dragonkind. Finally there was the underwater leviathans who were twice the size of whale sharks, who ruled the ocean floors.
The beast’s swiftly collaborated their efforts and performed various rituals that seized control of the minds of all sentient beings who weren’t a member of their own species. After total control was achieved they went their separate ways and started their own kingdoms to repopulate.
The world was also transformed due to the violent awakening of the dragons. Many of the mountainous landscapes were burned and charred by lava and magma, and many new volcanic islands emerged off the coast of countries. The planet was now 38% land and 62% water due to recent events, but all of the species seemed satisfied, some more willing than others.
Humans were now complete slaves to the new masters, and they were treated much like pets, livestock, and servants. The lucky ones were turned into sexually exaggerated dragons, but they only desired to breed over and over again, nurse newborns, or just to constantly be in a state of horny ecstasy. Others dragons turned into crossbreeds between dragons and humans, kobolds, or in the case of leviathans reptilian merfolk, but others remained untouched for amusement. Some dragons were so ruthless that they turned people into inanimate sex toys, or BDSM instruments for their own kinks.
Meanwhile the population of other animals have tripled, as dragon masters seemed to give them unlimited sex drives with nearly painless birthing pain or stress. Many believe this to be because their masters need food, or maybe some are interested into why humans sought companionship with such pets. Others think they are just used for experimentation in order to create a new kind of enslaved species.
