Roy looked around for some random, inanimate object to target now. Wandering down the hall, he spotted the door to his roommate Jack's room, slightly ajar. Peering inside, he saw an overflowing laundry hamper full of his lazy roommate's dirty clothes. Smiling mischievously, Roy pointed the device at the mound of dirty laundry and pressed the button.
At first nothing seemed to happen.
Then Roy squinted and took a closer look at the laundry hamper.
Where moments ago there had been smelly gym socks and dirty boxer shorts, now the hamper was filled with women's underwear, bras, and nylon stockings.
Roy then dashed down the hall, eager to see what had happened to Sarah.
There in the kitchen she still stood in front of the stove, finishing up the scrambled eggs. But she was now a disheveled mess – her hair was a wild birds nest of tangles. She wore no makeup. The lenses of her glasses were stained with water spots and grease marks. And strangest of all, she was dressed in Jack's dirty clothes. She was wearing his boxer shorts, a pair of dirty gray socks, and an oversized white t-shirt with some ketchup stains dribbled down the front of it.
“Morning Roy!” said Sarah, not noticing anything odd. “Is Jack up yet?”
“I... uh...” stammered Roy.
Just then Jack emerged from the bathroom, apparently having finished his shower. The strange thing though was that he was dressed in what appeared to be Sarah's clothes. He was still his normal, male self, but he was now wearing a tight-fitting green sweater, a long brown skirt, pantyhose, and a pair of dressy black, conservative women's shoes with a half-inch heel to them.
“Morning Sarah!” said Jack, giving Sarah a quick kiss on the mouth. “Breakfast smells great. Thanks for cooking.”
“Anything for my boyfriend!” replied Sarah with a slight blush.
“This is so weird,” whispered Roy to himself.
