As Roy got closer to the high school, he began to notice more and more teenagers. Most of them seemed cluster in little packs that reflected their social cliques: nerds hung with nerds, jocks with jocks, the emo crowd with fellow emo kids. Many of the cliques were defined purely by race: Latinos only clustered around fellow Latinos, the black kids all seemed to hang around each other, and so forth.
He thought back to his high school years and remembered being a lonely outcast. He remembered longing to belong. Of course now he was older and knew that all of that clique stuff was bologna. Still, he really resented those jerks for making those years harder. But now, with the Role swapper, he'd be able to really get some fun revenge.
