"I wish you were my girlfriend!" Matt said, angrily kicking the ground. "You and me understand each other and always get along."
Bill tried to gasp but found himself suddenly out of breath. A strange, dizzy sensation swept his body and he knew he was changing.
As Bill looked down at himself, he realized he had become a teenage girl now. He felt dangling earrings on his ears, and swept back a small, delicate female hand through wavy blonde hair. He looked down and saw large protrusions--breasts!--pushing out against a tight-fitting, yellow v-neck shirt. He saw he was now wearing a pair of denim capri pants instead of his normal blue jeans. His socks had become girl's ankle socks with a thin stripe of pink along the outside. His shoes were also now white and pink tennis shoes.
"What did you do to me?" Bill screamed with surprise.
"Holy shit!" yelled Matt. "Y-Y-You're a girl!"
"Yeah, thanks very much," snapped Bill in an irritated, but clearly feminine voice. "That's why I was trying to get that emerald away from you. It's a magic stone that can grant wishes. But you had to be a stupid bonehead and wish me into being your girlfriend!"
"Sorry, dude," said Matt. "I didn't know... although, for the record, I think you really are pretty hot now. I wouldn't mind it if you actually were my girlfriend."
Bill started to say something, but suddenly found he couldn't speak... another strange wave of dizziness briefly washed over him... and suddenly Bill found himself thinking how cute Matt looked. Bill knew it wasn't right. He knew he wasn't really a girl much less Matt's girlfriend... but now, somehow, Bill suddenly found he had a crush on his old best friend. He couldn't help but blush and bat his eyes at Matt's compliment.
"Thanks," Bill cooed. "Any girl would be lucky to be dating you, Matt. Gloria was stupid to ever let you slip away from her."
