Dylan felt himself stretch and grow taller. His muscles swelled and tore his clothes open. His face reshaped itself into another, more handsome one. When he was done, he turned and looked in the mirror. Dylan stood there, stunned. He was the identical twin of Samson Davidson from school!
A little background on Samson. First, everyone called him Sam. Second, all throughout grade school and junior high, Sam had been unnoticed, small and apparently plain. He didn't speak often and kept it short when he did. But no one understood what he was going through inside.
Sam was depressed because of his appearance and invisibility, and had come quite close to suicide. Instead his brother found out and convinced him to try something else. If he didn't like how he appeared, then he needed to change it.
Sam started going with his brother to a gym. Now he was a buff young man, and the glasses that once hid his face were usually replaced by contacts. But he had never shaken off his shy personality.
Dylan had admired Sam for what he had accomplished on his body in such a relatively short amount of time. Now he had that body himself. He flexed his new muscles and wondered what was going to happen at school the next day when Sam ran into an exact copy of himself.
