Ty spotted a 12-year-old boy named Wyatt Mansfield playing in a yard a little way further down the street. Wyatt was throwing a football at his friend, Nate Gallagher, and catching it when it came back. The boy had always dreamed of playing football, which Nate did, but he was skinny and small and scared of doing so. Instead, he would go to the athletic Nate's home and play, helping him get up on his game.
"Hey Wyatt, I need to use the bathroom. I'll be right back out," Nate said, turning and going inside.
"Ok," Wyatt said. But as he peered through the window, he saw Nate letting a girl in the front door. It was his girlfriend. Nate was 13, a couple months older than Wyatt, and had always been good-looking. Lately he'd started to grow into it more, gaining a more mature and muscular look, almost like he was 16.
Meanwhile, Wyatt was plain and young-looking, appearing about 10. He sighed with a heavy heart. Lately he and Nate had begun to grow apart. Nate seemed to feel that Wyatt was an anchor holding him back from being the most popular and athletic boy in the junior high. Now he was abandoning Wyatt to hang out with his girlfriend.
Ty read Wyatt's mind and knew all of this. He told Jake, "Look at the kid there, holding a football. He won't know what hit him!"
Ty decided to forge a new bond between the fading friends. First, with a couple of mental shots Wyatt looked like Nate's identical twin, blond and handsome and leanly muscled. He looked at himself in confusion, plucking at his tighter clothes.
Next, Ty willed Wyatt to age up to 23. As the boy grew older, his good looks intensified, his muscles bulged, until he was 6'6", 235 pounds. His face was like an angel, with blond stubble over a square jaw, and wavy blond hair on top of his head. He had massive pecs, an 8-pack of abs, biceps like steel pythons and legs to match, all lightly dusted with blond hair.
Ty altered Wyatt's life, making him Nate's older brother, a recent college grad who had just become a wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. He had also been named Sexiest Man Alive by several magazines, which made him quite the eligible bachelor, as well as having enormous talent on the field.
Wyatt Gallagher called in a deep sexy voice, "Nate, you coming back out? I wanted to give you some pro tips."
Nate and his girlfriend came outside, where the girl fainted in ecstasy after seeibg Wyatt's amazibg smile. Nate barely noticed, eagerly listening to his new older brother.
Ty stood there with Jake, who was amazed. Ty was pleased with his handiwork.
