Alex had gone through several sub-menus but didn't want to spend all night tweaking left and right leg musculature, torso build... and so on. the options were endless. and the detail was mind boggling.
When he came across a swap bodies option he was relieved. clicking into it the program asked him to select a target within range. Weirdly enough, his neighbor Joe was popping up as an option, disappearing, then popping up, then disappearing again.
Looking out the window Alex realized Joe must be moving around in his garage, probably over a hundred feet away. The 20 foot limitation must be a worst case scenario or a maximum guarantee, Alex reasoned. Alex repositioned everything so he wasn't in the way and managed to prop the emitter so it would stay in the window facing Joe's garage.
Joe stayed an option and Alex clicked on him opening up options for the transformation.

Alex doubted it would work as it implied but hey, he isn't able to play his video game yet, so why not mess around with this?
Joe was Joseph Ricci an Italian-American blessed with midnight black hair, a light complexion and striking blue eyes. He was average height, lean, but muscular. The chronivac showed he was 29 and your parents had commented that he is single. He occasionally had loud parties that went into the early morning, but that was only a few times in the summer and only on weekends.
You clicked go, reasonably sure it would show a weird merger of one of his social media pictures and a webcam photo of you... but hey, that might be neat too. It was 4:40 and your parent's wont be home until 6. The program chirped "Transformation upload successful, you may leave emitter range and transformation will complete as specified".
A chill went through your body which you ignored. "It doesn't even show a picture. What crap." Alex closed the program and put the computer to sleep. On a whim he decided to go to Joe's to see if he was even in his garage.
