Well as we know Damon's older brother Alexander had gotten married to Damon's old flame Elizabeth and surprisingly Damon had fallen in love with and married Alexander's girlfriend Monica.
So having the 5000 passenger and crew superliner crash on the rocks and sink,drowing everybody aboard but Damon,Aaron,Brendan
was fairly big.
