A girl in the large group of teenagers cries out in the wolfboy's direction "Rob, what's he done to you?!"
The man in the porkpie hat slugs her. The wolfboy momentarily pauses to look in her direction. But then he grunts and continues
chasing you.
You give up. "Just kill me already you hairy bastard!"
A voice in your ear says "That's hardly the right attitude!"
You turn around. A sly looking young man with wings on his shoes is hoovering next to you.
"Who.."
"You may call me Mercury, and the man down there in the cheap hat is a relative of mine--Dionysus."
"Please help me, he's--"
"Oh yes, I know--you see ever since Reagan got elected he's been in a deep depression. Alcoholism, shooting matches..the
works. All those kids down there are the children of wealthy ex-hippies. He's brought them here for one final act of revenge--a
year long orgy of sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll, and for his final act he's going to turn them all into party animals--literally."
You see the wolf-boy approach.Mercury smiles at you and asks your name.
"Mark Gibbon" you say.
"Gibbon eh? Well, you'll end up close to one. Here, stand still while I point at you."
"No!"
"Now look, do you want to climb this tree faster or not. Our overgrown jock friend is catching up you know."
You close your eyes as he points his finger.
"What did you do to me?"
"Oh, I just pushed the evolutionary clock back a few years.Why don't you remove your shoes and socks? It will help you climb."
He disappears.
You scurry up the tree, quickly taking off and flinging your shoes at the wolf-boy, who winces. Then you ball up your socks and
hurl them at him. The climbing is getting easier you think, and then look at your feet with horror.
Hair is spurting all over your lengthening toes. your big toe is growing grotesquely long and moving slighly apart from your other
toes, which are sprouting into fingers. You find you can actually grip branches with them.
"Oh no" you say, as your hands grow bigger, and a small tail burst out of your jeans. Your chest heaves as muscles build up and
your shirt tears into shreds as your slight chest hair blossoms into fur. "What did you do to me?" you shriek, as your calves widen
with more hair and muscle until your jeans begin splitting down the seams.
"arghhh" you moan as you grip your head. You feel you brow pushing out as your mouth bloats forward. Your ass becomes
inflamed and tears through your jeans, which fall to the ground. You feel your mind shrink as primal urges grow. You nearly fly
up the tree, shrieking and grunting. The wolfboy snarls. You beat your chest and howl back at him, and then in a fit of
remarkable guts hurl yourself downward to him. He leaps at you, but you punch him and break his arm. "AhhAhhAhh!" you
scream. The wolf boy sinks his teeth in your neck. Enraged, you push him off the tree. He falls thirty feet into the grass and rolls
over, seriously injured. You give off a chorus of 'oohoohooh's as you feel additional fur sprout over you. You nails sharpen and
ears point up. A slight muzzle pushes out. Your penis
grows a slight, shoddy sheath as your bulk balloons and hair totally carpets .
On the ground the injured wolfboy tosses and turns as he regresses, his body growing smaller and pinker, his face growing softer
as the muzzle recedes until all that's left is a confused 18 year old in his boxer shorts.
"Man, what happened to me?" he says, rubbing his belly.
You leap off the tree and land on your feet in front of him, giving off a combination of a howl and bellow.
He screams in terror as he says what looks like a 7 foot tall cross between a gibbon, gorilla, and werewolf rear up move toward
him.
Rob curls into a ball and wonders what to do.
