Before the group could even decide, Professor Von Strasser released a gas into the room that knocked everybody in the group out. He had been listening and watching from the metal door protected room through hidden cameras and microphones. He left the well protected room and walked up to the knocked out bodies and said, you're never going to catch me, not after I get you all acquainted with your new lives. He called over Bobo the chimp in Janet's body to help put the knocked out bodies into the back of a van. He left Bobo, his mother, and Alan at the house as he started putting everybody into their new lives.
First, he drove to the nearest police station, dragged Megan in Jack's body inside and turned her in. The professor said to the police that Jack tried to kill him but he managed to knock him out and police took Megan in Jack's body and put her in a well guarded room to wait for her to wake up.
Next, the professor drove to the nearest zoo and donated Janet in Bobo's body into the zoo. He said to the zoo staff that he found a wild monkey, caught it, and waited for it to go to sleep because it was out of control and he warned the zoo staff that when it wakes it may go crazy. The zoo staff thanked him for his donation and he left.
Then the professor drove to the bar where he picked up Vanessa and dragged Steve in her body into the alley behind it and left him there.
Finally, he drove to the home of the Donaldson's after finding out their address by looking at Steve's driver's license. He used Steve's old keys to get into the house and dragged Vanessa and Jack in Steve's and Megan's bodies into their new beds.
The professor left and drove back to his house.
