Ty looks around the place to see if anyone is worth following during this great moment. He spots Devin, a classmate who was a profound atheist, getting every chance to denounce God every-time conversation happened. He was the same age as Ty, but looked a bit skinnier and always wore a fedora with a black sabbath shirt along with pants to cover his pale looking body.
"Hey Devin!" Ty waves at him as he approaches, seeing the atheist shrug as a greeting. "Crazy how all of this is happening. Can you believe angels actually exist and stuff?"
"Whatever, it's all fake." Devin scoffs and crosses his arms before beginning to walk away but letting Ty have the option if he wants to follow or not. "Just a bunch of good actors with impressive special effects and wires. That's all it is really."
"A bunch of women with giant wings floated down from heaven and you still think it's all fake?" Ty asks, his tone more out of curiosity than annoyed that there were still non-believers around even after being a eye-witness.
"Like I said, it's all one big prank or something," Devin and Ty finally made it outside and paused to enjoy the fresh air, feeling as if it was purer than before. "It's going to take a lot more to convince me."
That'll be pretty easy, Ty thought. He casually follows his atheist friend from school till they were at the local park. As Devin went to get a sip of water from the drinking fountain, Ty wishes for a angel to grace his presence. Within seconds a tall blonde angel wearing a beautiful looking white robe that skimpily covered her breast and waist, floats down and graces his presence.
"My name is Hope, and I am honored to service you in anyway I can." The angel smiles at Ty with the sweetest smile he ever seen, making him feel all warm and fuzzy inside as a result. "How may I help you, caller of angels?"
"Pleasure to meet you, Hope." Ty smiles back, almost losing his track of thought before getting back to what he was going to say. "My friend Devin over there is an atheist, and still isn't convinced that God is real."
"O-oh how terrible.." Hope gasps and folds her wings down as a sign of sadness. "I-I thought our revealing to the mortal world convinced everyone."
"There'll always be a few who are too dug deep in their lies." Ty reassures her before seeing Devin finish drinking. "Go to him and do anything you can to bring him to the one true faith."
"As a angel of the lord God almighty, I will do everything within my power to bring this non-believer to the one true faith." Hope softly glides towards Devin to introduce herself, speaking when he turns around. "Greetings, mortal. My name is Hope."
"Nice wings," Devin compliments her in an arrogant tone as if he felt superior to everyone. "What are they made out of? Looks pretty realistic I'll give you that."
"These are very real, I can assure you." Hope spreads her wings wide to let the teen boy examine them better. "I was told that you do not believe in God. I can assure you he is very real and I am one of the many proofs of his existence."
Devin scoffs again and rolls his eyes, even her wings spreading on his own was not even convincing, thinking it was done with advance mechanical devices that make the wings fold and unfold with ease.
"Please let me help you," Hope holds out her hands in a offer, being very gently with her tone as if she was like a mother figure to him. "I know there must be something that can convince you.."
"Well..." Devin ponders, accepting the offer mostly just to humor her since he was so dead-set on not believing religion at all.
