My wish was only half thought out and I realized I had forgotten something, at least. I had not made any mention of anthropomorphization in my wish and I watch as Sara's body paid witness to that oversight.
She was bending forward and growling, her clothes shredding as she rapidly ballooned in size. Her torso, a slender runners build, was becoming barrel-like and her skin was pierced by ebony and ruby fur racing over her body, coating her thickly. By the time her hands would have hit the shingles of the roof, they had become large paws, claws lancing out to pierce the roof and send splinters flying.
She growled wildly and I stepped back into the open air, standing there floating with lightning around me. Had I stolen her sanity and humanity I thought with fear? Her feet exploded out of her shoes, twisting into iron-hard and iron-black hooves that left behind a trail of fire as she moved. Her tail likewise was an equine's ablaze. Her faze began to push out in a muzzle and she let out a howl of some emotion I could not decipher as black fur erupted all around her mouth, teeth twisting into sickles and knives.
It took but a moment for my sweet cousin to become a fearsome half horse half hellhound Nightmare. She stood seven feet at the shoulder easily and she was panting, eyes glowing red and baleful. I knew that was her father's influence. There was something monstrous in her, though she was quite cunning I was sure. "Come closer..." she said, her voice sugar-sweet despite the change. I stared at her, certain of her evil parentage. Could I trust her?
"It's just me cousin! Come over and give us a hug..."
I swallowed and then...
