Feeling satisfied by his work, Mark wanted to wait a while to see if his mom-dog really had been fertilized. He decided to look up what the pregnancy of a human really entailed. He was disappointed to discover that there wouldn't be any bump on his mom-dog for at least a couple months. None-the-less, he waited. In the meantime, he decided not to use his new device until he found out or not.
As a result of the device, so far, a few things were different. Rainbow, was now in the role of his mother. She still spoke no English but continued to play the role of his mother. She'd make dinner and went to work and even slept with his father. To his surprise, Mark was not disturbed by this, although he was aware it was not normal, for him. However, everyone else saw as the most normal thing in the world.
By the time exactly two months had passed, Mark was dying of impatience. There still wasn't any sign of her mom-dog being pregnant, but, truthfully, aside from a bump, Mark didn't know what to look for. With more research, he decided to buy a pregnancy test, and get a straight answer.
One afternoon, while his parents were at work and his sisters were out of the house, Mark let Karen out into the backyard. He stuck closely by her and watched for when she'd squat to pee. Karen noticed her human's strange behavior and looked at him with confusion. She tried to walk away, but Mark followed, sticking very close. Karen became frightened, and dashed away on all fours. Mark ran after her, but she continued to run.
Letting out a yell of frustration, Mark stopped following the mom-dog. Once Karen felt like she was a safe distance from the strangely acting human, she began about her regular backyard-business. She sniffled around on the ground. From a distance, Mark closely. As soon as his mom-dog squatted, he hurried over, careful not to alert Karen and stuck the stick under the stream of liquid.
Examining the box, Mark saw that one bar was negative and two bars was positive. There was a waiting time of two to five minutes. Impatiently, Mark at on the porch and waited. Every few seconds he glanced at the stick to see if it changed. Finally...
