In the locker room, Jake was still in awe over his new size. Everything was so much bigger, and he didn't know how to react. It was almost too big, he thought, almost laughing to himself.

Standing next to it, Jake saw that it was still reading his previous height, 6'4". However, the measuring arm was now at shoulder level! Arm trembling, Jake moved the arm up above his head again, this time reaching the top of the scale, and barely managed to stand under it. Jake brought the arm down and read the numbers: 86 inches. 7'2. He felt a little queasy to his stomach. Jake didn't know any other 13 year olds that were six feet tall, let alone seven.
