A little ball of fur an equivalent to a human 6 year old walks up to you and presents you a stick figure of what you assume is yourself. A crude but adorable image of a Husky with a round stomach and a wide smile.
"I Made this for you mommy" the big eyed puppy said with a look of unconditional love and innocence. An urge that you could have never have dreamed of before welled up within your heart... you felt complete, and had a sense of a holistic and pure love. These emotions came forth through your still unfamiliar muzzle "I-I I don't know what to say... This is so lovely, did you make this for me"
The little wolf looked at the ground and nodded quietly. "Daddy said mommy was very pretty and nice. I'm glad he was right."
Your eyes start tearing up and you wobbly crouch down and huge your daughter with all the love and affection in the world, sobbing slightly as you nuzzle into her little neck. She giddily accept the warm hug and the two of you just cuddle for a quick minute.
You feel bad for not even being there for her over the past few weeks "Whats your name my love?"
"Sasha" She responded matter of factly. "I'm three weeks old, and even though im not as big as my brothers and sisters, I've been helping daddy and Aunt Cindi build our home. I'm in charge of painting and what Daddy calls keeping 'Mor-male up'"
You giggle a little "Do you mean morale"
"Yes that!"
"Well I can tell you've been very busy with all the high art I saw all over the ground Sasha"
"Yah..." her high energy seemingly drains though at the mention of her work. "Its been a lot of fun here, but its a little lonely. Daddy's great and takes care of me, but he's really busy. And sometimes when i'm sad, or want to talk, or want a hug theres noone there. And Aunty Cindi always seems to be uncomfortably and try's to leave when I'm looking for... Mommy. Thats a mommy's job right? Love and take care of use, listen when we to talk, give us the bestest hugs like you just did. You're a really good hugger."
Your heart just melts. "That's right, that's a mommy's job. To take care of there kids and give them the best Hugs when they're feeling down. To love and be there for them always. know who want another hug?"
...The glum little fuzzleball perks up again and says "I do!" and the two of you continue your first daughter mother experience. And you have to say, it was the best thing in your life.
