Rebecca looked over their weird use thing she found in her room with intrigue and confusion. She had no idea how it got in there and what it even was. She wondered if her mommy had put it in there when she saw some words on the back. She sounded out the first one in her head. "Ca-cam-era. Camera!" She thought excitedly. She knew what that was, but had never seen one so big.
She decided to do what Aunti Jacki liked to do and take a picture of herself. She lifted the bulking camera with all her tiny might and finally got to hold it facing her. Emily watched it all unfold with desperate anticipation. She hoped that if Rebecca could just turn the camera the right way, she could transform into something, anything better than a freaking doll!
Rebecca then dropped the camera, sending it flying onto the ground. The camera flashed but it had turned around during the fall and only hit a tiny fish tank next to her bed with a goldfish inside. Emily watched as the bowl of water vanished, and the fish started to grow. The fish grew and grew while its fins turned into legs and its scales turned into orange fur. The new cat began to lick itself as Rebecca went to pick up the camera.
"Oops. Sorry Sprinkles!" Rebecca happily apologized to the cat who just stretched out its body and then jumped off to explore the rest of the house. Rebecca saw a little card come out of the camera. She picked it up to see a polaroid photo of her cat. "Wow!" She laughed. "It really works! I want one!" She exclaimed, turning the camera back.
This time, Rebecca's position made it so that Emily was also likely in the shot. If Emily had skin then she would have been sweating as she sat helplessly while Rebecca reached for the button. Rebecca finally slapped the button and a bright light hit both her and her doll Emily. Emily braced herself as reality changed once again.
