After quickly looking through the other items Kyle came back to the werewolf collar pretty quickly. The idea of being able to be something inherently powerful was attractive to the young man who spent the last 12 years of his life being bullied.
"So I would just put this on and then take it off when I'm done? Will I be able to talk, eat, and drink in this costume? I'm going to a party." Kyle asked unable to look away from the various collars labeled werewolf.
"Ah, yes, the rules. It is highly advised you wear baggy, stretchy clothes when you transform and continue to wear them while transformed. If you go around nude and need to turn back, you will run the risk of being arrested for indecent exposure. It is recommended you avoid forested areas where people may hunt. Outside this shop you will be unable to transform in front of people. While wearing the collar the werewolf is suppressed so you will retain your mental faculties while transformed. So yes, you will be able to talk and drink and eat people food instead of people, but don't wear the collar for over 12 hours, and for the love of Mystra don't tell people its real magic."
Kyle stared deeply at a black leather collar with a tribal bas relief accented with a rich cobalt blue background, "Why can't I tell anyone about magic? You're telling me about it." Kyle murmured half listening.
Hallow sighed in frustration, "Because you..." he realized Kyle was entirely enchanted by the collar and not hearing a word he was saying. He snatched the package out of Kyle's hand and began ringing the item up as it was clear the young man was sold. This snapped Kyle out of his trance. "Because you found this store, you get to know about magic and magical creatures. You however DO NOT get to tell anyone about it or try to bring them here. Is that clear?"
"Um I guess so, though it seems weird that a store wouldn't want me bringing more customers to it..."
Hallow returned a stern look and said, "If you want this, the cost is 27.50 and your promise to keep the store a secret. Oh all sales are final and your oath is binding."
Kyle reached into his wallet completing the sale. He rushed home to prepare for the party and try on his new costume.
