John entered the clinic with his fiancee, Jessica, looking kind of nervous. He'd been persuaded by Jessica to come here, and to try being a kid again for a month. It had all started as a joke, really, but then it had gotten a life of it's own.
So here he was. Not only was he going to change into a kid, but he'd gone for the option of a gender change. He was going to become a girl. The woman behind the desk stared at him for a moment when he approached, but handed him his papers to fill out. The first part was easy. His personal information. Name, age (30), gender. The personal information of the person who would become his legal guardian. Jessica, of course.
As he came to the next part, he felt his heart start to beat faster. He needed to fill in who he would become. He skipped age for the moment. With a shaky hand, he crossed the "female" box, and looked at the list of options below it. Mental regression? If he was going to be a child, he obviously wanted to feel like a child, so he crossed it off. He knew it meant a temporary loss of a number of skills that wouldn't be fitting for a child to have, as well as a loss of cognition. There was an option to use the selected guardian as the genetic base for his transformation, and he crossed that as well.
Several more options were available. Together with Jessica, he pondered if he wanted any of the others. She beamed at him, looking really excited to try all of this out.
When they had decided on which options to pick, he looked back up at age. What was he going to pick? And what other options had he picked?
