Martha swam through the ocean, amazed by how fast she swam due to the strength of her powerful fish tail. Her new fishy lower body moved through the water with grace.
Flicking her tail felt so liberating, it felt so much better than walking on land.
“Why does flicking my tail feel so good?”, Martha wondered.
The woman looked down at the rest of her body and saw beautiful opalescent scales in such an amazing pattern that she was stunned at how beautiful she looked.
“Is this really my body?”, Martha questioned.
The new mermaid paused and looked at herself upon a reflective mirror, that was part of a sunken ship, and gasped.
She looked absolutely gorgeous. Martha looked at her face and noticed how she seemed to have aged back at least 20 years. Her hair was long and rich, nothing like the aging hair that was used to seeing day to day as a human. Her breasts were youthful luscious FF cups and were covered by scales, but even then the scales only covered her nipple area and left her assets otherwise exposed. Even her human half had fishy aspects of it, with her ears becoming perked fins that stood out from her lovely hair and gills that opened at her sides.
Martha was shocked by her appearance. The water didn’t just change her legs, it affected her human self as well. Martha could remember looking almost exactly like this when she was a young college-aged girl that fell in love with Monica’s dad and married him soon after.

Martha was alert again, she had to find her daughter.
Although she wasn’t sure how Monica would react to seeing her mother essentially being 20 years younger, Martha’s motherly instincts overpowered all of her current fears.
“I’ll find you soon, Monica. Mommy’s here.”, she whispered.
It didn’t take Martha long to find Damon’s Merkingdom, but she never knew it belonged to the boy that was Monica’s partner.
Martha slowed her swimming and was enchanted by the large amount of merfolk that swam around her. But the mother could feel her heart sinking when she saw the amount as well.
“How am I ever going to find my baby in this crowd?”, she thought to herself.
Martha was losing hope until she noticed a crowd of merfolk gathering around a shopping center. She swam towards the crowd, carefully moving towards the center of what everyone was seeing and gasped.

Martha wanted to swim towards her daughter and give her the biggest bear hug a loving mother could give, but paused when she took a closer look at Monica’s boyfriend.
“Is Damon wearing… A prince crown?”, she wondered.
If she tried to rush in towards the couple with one of them in such high social status, she could cause trouble - especially since her younger body could make her unrecognizable to her daughter.
Martha knew she didn’t have much time before they would leave.
The mother sighed and pondered her next move.
