"I'll be a mermaid as well then" Laura then assured as she followed her niece's actions and collected a dark blue tail and matching top.
"well then" Dante started once all new guests that had made their selections while the few still undecided were escorted to the rooms "except for merfolk please get changed and return to the bus. the driver will now be going to the required areas". "why can we mermaids get changed here?" one 8 year old guest complained. "these tails aren't designed for walking in" Emily answered for Dante, said centaur now going around handing these wired bags to the merfolk choosers "once at the shorefront and changed, please place all clothing and belonging into these bags. the driver will bring them here for safety until your ready to leave" he instructed.
Eventually at the shoreline which was the third stop on the drop-off "OK then folk, all non merfolk stay here while I help said guests get ready" the driver instructed as he and all the guests being merfolk got off, Emily quickly seeing this wired large steel building in one corner partly deeping into the sea while also placed right atop where the land and sand met, a building the driver suddenly started leading the guests to.
"ah... only 9 new guests this run?" a sundress wearing brown haired woman in her mid-40s muttered in sadness. "out of a possible 50 guests I assure you Mia" the driver responded. "well we have more then enough changing rooms for you all so feel free to take your pick... once done please carefully make your way to the conversion room behind me" Mia then kindly instructed while pointing out this red metal door conflicting with the others.
once in their chosen chanting room and striped naked "need some help aunt Laura?" Emily inquired while pulling the tight tail costume up over her legs after getting her top on but noticed Laura was failing to do so. "ugh... ahh... I think I do Em" Laura reluctantly agreed after struggling to succeed at the task herself. from their Emily paused from getting her tail on to help clip her aunt's top on "their we go, nice and tight" Emily assured once she was done and resumed getting her tail on. "you know I envy your small bust size Emily" Laura then admitted as she started get her tail on. "try saying that next year or a few down the line... after all I haven't started that development yet" Emily countered.
once both were ready the niece and aunt got out of the room with their containment bags packed and started to use these support posts to get to the conversion room. "excuse me" the driver suddenly called as he approached the pair. "oh... sorry we assumed you'd be waiting by the door" Laura apologised as she handed the driver the bags. "oh first timers... well you were fast as only one or two others have already gone inside" the driver accepted before returning to this seat by the entrance he'd been using.
once inside the conversion room both noticed an opening just like those used for diving from certain ships and submarines but within a massive circle of various runes with the 8 year old from before and her father already waiting "Laura and Emily Townmark, you all set?" Mia inquired as she approached. "just tell us what to do next" Emily answered. "Just take seats at the dive pool and wait until everyone else is here... we can only change about 12 people max but your among 9 guests today" Mia explained with Laura and Emily doing so but having to crawl at this point.
soon all 9 guests were in place "this isn't going to hurt is it?" the father asked. "in no way... but their might be a little discomfort" Mia assured before going to the corner and taking a wired pose while speaking some wired language...
...but with each word energy filled the room that performed the desired transformation, Emily felt it as her legs inside the tail costume started to meld together, the costume fusing to her body while morphing into real orange scales, a wired membrane coated her eyes and her lungs morphed and rearrange inside of her while her muscles both relaxed and tensed up before Mia finally finished.
"wow..." Emily started once she started moving her tail, bending it slightly in inhuman ways while easily flipping her tailfin sides individually merely by thinking. "did it work?" a merboy guest asked. "try it out under the waterline and see" Mia suggested, with Emily choosing to be the tester "incredible" she exclaimed under the water yet breathing like normal and her eyes unhurt before swimming back up and making a massive leap. "yeah... it worked" Laura agreed with Mia before diving in herself so that both she and Emily were bobbing their heads in the pool as the others dived in.
