Liz felt her changes pause for a few seconds after her tail had finished, and she spent the brief respite admiring the bizarre juxtaposition of a lizards tail emerging from her still human backside. Soon however, the scales from her tail began to extend over her skin, sweeping delicately across her naked flesh. The process by which they spread was quite remarkable; each new scale pushing its way out from underneath her skin, raising with it the corner of the next.
