The Magic Shop

From Bully to Servant

Colin decided to leave his family as-is for now. He'd had a taste of power, and wanted to indulge in a bit of petty vengeance. Robin Rodgers, a big guy who'd always picked on him throughout high school, would be an interesting target.

Colin headed up to his room to grab his wallet and cell phone, and found a velcro strap to hold them that could wrap around his arm. Guess without pants pockets, it'll have to do. As Colin took it downstairs, it dawned on him that, if reality's changed so that he'd always been a buff dragon, maybe Robin doesn't actually bully him anymore. Colin was pretty sure he'd just move to a different target, instead, but, even if he was indulging in petty revenge, he wanted to make sure his target actually did something... As he passed through the kitchen again, he see Jane washing dishes.

"My phone has a video showing what Robin Rodgers thinks of me, right?"

"Yes," Jane said dully, before continuing. "I don't know why you haven't deleted it already. Just a bunch of bad memories."

Curious, Colin went to his phone's recorded videos. He saw clips of Robin following him around, constantly taunting and jabbing at him verbally, trying to egg colin into attacking him, occasionally even pulling on his tail or wings... but only when there's an authority figure around. 'Heh,' Colin thought to himself, 'Before the change, he was bigger than me, and used his size to his advantage. Now that I'm taller and stronger than him, he's STILL taking advantage of the size difference, just knowing that any retaliation I make would make me seem like the aggressor now. He's more clever than I'd give him credit for.'

Colin stepped outside, and flapped his wings, smiling a wide, fanged grin. He leapt into the air and soared into the sky, every beat of his wings forcing him higher as he looked down over the neighborhood below. Houses and early morning joggers grew more distant, and a few people idly glanced up at him, paying no real heed to his presence. The freedom of the air was almost enough to make Colin forget his little quest. But eventually, he saw Robin's house below.

Colin touched down on the front porch, and rang the doorbell. After a few minutes, Robin's father answered, with a groggy yawn. "Aren't you that dragon kid from Robin's school? What do you want? It's 6:30 on a Saturday! Wouldn't you rather be in bed?"

"Didn't you and your wife sleep through the doorbell ringing, and Robin answered instead?"

"Yes. The man said in monotone. Colin's vision suddenly blurred for a moment, and when it cleared, the man was gone, Robin standing there in his place.

"What do you want, you overgrown lizard?" Robin sneered. "Think you're gonna threaten me or something? My parents have a top of the line security system. You're on camera right now. If you try to threaten me, your life's ruined."

"Nah, I'm not gonna do anything like that. I just wanted to ask you a few questions."

"Fine, I'll humor you." The boy rolled his eyes.

"Kobolds live to serve dragons, don't they?"

"Yes," Robin said in monotone.

"They happily do whatever their dragon master says, without the promise of payment or reward, right?"

"Yes," Robin said. He shook his head. "What's this D&D junk got to do with-"

"You're a kobold, aren't you?" Colin said with a smirk. "Aren't you a short little anthro lizard? With a timid, humble disposition? Who hates the idea of bullying people?"

"Yes," Robin muttered, little green scales appearing all over his body as he slowly shrunk. His fingers and toes lost their nails, little black claws growing from the tips, instead. He was soon barely at Colin hip level, his far-too-big shirt covering his whole body. A short, thick tail sprouted out and wiggled above his rear, while his face stretched forward into a short snout. His tongue became thicker, and his teeth sharpened slightly, not becoming the long, impressive fangs Colin boasted. Two black, gently curving horns emerged from the back of his head, while his eyes turned a bright yellow, and got much larger.

The little kobold looked up at Colin timidly. "Any more questions, Master?"

"Yes..." Colin leaned down. "Is it true you're female? With a very... 'shortstacked' figure?"

"Yes..." Robin's monotone voice became slightly higher pitched. Underneath her oversized T-Shirt, Colin could see robin's hips and rear expanding generously, while her chest subtly rose up with each breath the little lizard took, quickly stopping at a cute, modest size.

"And you see me as more than a Master, don't you? Do you also have a crush on me?"

"Yes..." When the monotone response ended, Robin suddenly, somehow, blushed through her scales. "I, er... what I mean, Master... Is... well... " She stammered and rushed through her words. "Kobolds aren't worthy of the privilege of serving at a dragon's feet... We can only dream of aspiring to such greatness ourselves... We have to know our place! And we definitely wouldn't dream of sullying our master's honor by even thinking of ourselves as worthy partners and objects of affection! Even when we end up with incredibly strong, handsome, loving, kind masters..."

Colin held back a laugh. He could get used to this new Robin. "Since you're anthro, you don't have to wear clothes. Do you like to go around nude like your Master, whenever you can?"

"Yes." Robin thoughtlessly lifted up the massive shirt around her, and pitched it away, it, and the rest of her clothes vanishing as she did so. "It's pointless to drape ourselves in fine material like humans do. To use them as anything but cover from the cold would be vanity unbefitting a humble kobold."

"Naturally," Colin nodded, and pet Robin. The kobold eagerly leaned into it, pressing her head against his claw. "And, since you're a kobold, is it true your parents have no trouble with you leaving the house at any time to assist your dragon master with whatever he needs?"

"Yes... D-does that mean Master needs Robin's humble assistance? Would Master like me to go with him right now?"

"Oh, yes, absolutely." Colin said. "We're going to have a great day!"
