Alana shook the lights and spots from her eyes. She looked down and saw the eggs but couldn't focus on them right now so she instinctively removed them from the burner and turned off the heat. She looked over to see a man picking up a baby who was starting to cry.
"Aww baby Steph! What happened?" The man said lovingly. While her husband was checking on the baby she turned to check on her son. He was sitting at the table distracted by and playing with his fork, this time...
"Mommy, I don't want eggs, I want pancakes." 5 year old Jake declared.
"But I've already made the eggs, I just gotta add cheese. You like cheese, don't you sweetie?" Alana said going to the fridge.
Baby Stephanie was throwing a temper tantrum and wanted to play with an old book Alana left on the table reminding her that she needed to return it to the library. Jake was winding up to pout and start throwing his own tantrum.
Mark walked back in carrying the screaming baby girl. "Honey, what did we tell you about preferences? You can have your way sometimes but you need to give us time to include your plans into ours. Mommy still needs to get ready for work, you still need to get dressed and ready for school and baby Stephanie needs a diaper change."
Mark poured coffee into the empty coffee mug on the kitchen table and placed it by the stove for Alana. "Thanks sweetie." she said with a smile and kiss on the lips. "What would I ever do without you?"
"Get into a lot of trouble with this." he casually reached over and squeezed Alana's big ass after making sure that Jake wasn't paying attention.
"But I wouldn't want that because I wouldn't have my trophy wife." He said after shooting her a hungry glance that made her loins flare with anticipation.
"And where would I be without my DILF of a husband?" she coo'd raising her hand to feel his pecs move as he finished making breakfast.
Alana leaned over and kissed Mark long and passionately, then Mark whispered, "I love you. We're running late. Tonight, after the kids are asleep, maybe some wine?"
"Try and stop me." Alana purred.
Alana plated up and served the eggs, found a child glass, got Jake some milk and sat down with a plate of her own before nearly chugging her coffee and pouring another glass. She and Jake began eating while Mark gave Stephanie a diaper change.
Alana was 28 and had her bachelor degree in engineering which let her get a good job and settle down quickly... well, after getting pregnant with Jake when she was 22 and almost done with her degree sort of forced her to finish quick. Alana was active and in shape, chasing Jake around, taking jogs, and doing Yoga. It was hard after two kids, but a smoking hot husband and an active sex life helped with that. She worked hard to provide for her family and they married before Janet was born. She got a number of quizzical looks for going after an older man but she wanted him, and still does.
Mark is now 30 and married Alana at 22. He feels a little self conscious about being older than his wife but that stigma has disappeared over the last 5 years. He worries about looking like an old fart as he reaches his prime but Alana almost seems turned on by him being older than her as if she is conquering someone out of her league. Steph was conceived after he complained to Alana about finding his first gray. He was worried he was getting too old but Alana proved that she would always love him, and thus little Steph was born.
Mark returned with a happy, freshly changed baby and began eating. Alana was just finishing and needed to clean herself up for work. "Hurry up then get ready for school." she said to Jake before walking off.
Alana wasn't watching and hadn't noticed that he was just picking at his food and not eating it. "Fork to mouth. Eat. Its time to get ready for school!"
"Daddy?" Jake said slowly.
"What?" Mark replied flatly...
"Can Mommy make pancakes tomorrow for breakfast." he said eyeing the eggs suspiciously.
"Only if everyone wakes up early enough, gets dressed fast enough, and there is enough time. Pancakes are a lot slower to cook than eggs. But... we can try." Mark said not wanting to commit to making 1-2 pancakes at a time on the stove. "Now eat the eggs or you don't get breakfast."
Jake seemed to accept that answer and dove into her food.
Alana was in the shower shaving her legs, Mark shooed Jake into his bedroom to get out of pajamas and put the rest of the coffee into a tumbler for Alana to take to work. They used to get dressed before breakfast but young children throw food, spit up, and sometimes adults spill stuff too. So now the family gets dressed after breakfast and that has been working a little better for time and the laundry machine.
The family will continue like normal until someone realizes this is not their reality but what happens then and how long does it last?
