"Hey give me that back!" shouted a young boy. "No way pipsqueak!" shouted an older voice. It was a common occurrence in this particular household. The young boy name Jason Simmons (7) was jumping up and down. He was trying in vain to get the remote control from his big brother. The brother in question, Eric Simmons (16), was holding it up above his head, plain out of reach. "Give it back!" Jason shouted futilely. "Nope!" was all Eric said back as he changed the channel. Jason was watching one of his cartoons, when Eric came in and grabbed the remote from his hands. He changed it to a show he liked to watch. He wasn't a fan of the actual show though. But it was one of the ways he could watch his favorite actress. He loved to jerk off to her. "Hey I was watching something!" "Well too bad, pipsqueak! Now I'M watching something!" Eric finished to conversation by placing the remote out of reach. "Now why don't you go back to your room and play with your toys. This is adults only!" The show was all age suitable, but the jerking off of course. "That's not fair!" Jason cried out. "Yeah, well life ain't fair," was all Eric said as he laid down on the couch. "Now shoo!" "I hate you!" was all Jason could say he he punched Eric in the shoulder and ran to his room. Eric didn't do anything in response. It was the least he could do, he thought.
Jason ran upstairs in into his room. He jumped on to his bed and stuffed his face in his pillows. "Dummy, dummy, dummy!" was all he could say. "That jerk! Ugh!" Jason moaned as he flipped over and wiped his tears. "I wish I could do something about him once and for all." And that's when it happened. Jason's phone, which he had kept upstairs, vibrated several times as if he had a text message. "Who is it?" He sat up and grabbed the phone from his desk, but it neither had a message or a missed phone call. "Maybe I was just imagining it..." he thought, but before he closed his phone, an unknown app crossed his eyes. "What is this?" Jason was told never to touch anything he didn't know, but his state of mind was messed up enough, that he unconsciously opened the app. It read, "Wish Granting App." "Ever wanted something so bad, but could never have it? Then this app is for you. Type in whatever you desire and the app will grant it.... What the heck...?" Jason was dumbfounded. An app that could grant your wish. There was no way. "I knew I shouldn't have touched this," he thought as he motioned towards deleting it.
However, he stayed his hand. He knew this was silly, but some part of him wanted it to be true. And he had the perfect wish in mind. "This is silly, but... I guess I could try it out for funsies." Jason proceeded to hit sign in. He put in his contact info and and signed up. He immediately got a prompt. It said, "Welcome Jason to the wonders of the "Wish Granting App" For first time applicants, type in your first wish for free!" "Free? I have to pay for this?" Jason swore he didn't see anything like that. "Well shucks!" Jason wanted to try it out first with a simple wish to see if it worked, but that couldn't happen now. "Well, not like this can grant wishes anyway." He looked to the bottom of the screen to see a blank bar and above it were the words, "What do you wish for?" "Okay then," he said to himself. He typed in his wish. "I wish Eric wasn't my big brother anymore." Jason finished typing. His finger hovered over the enter button. "If I enter this, I wonder what will happen. Will I be an only child? Will Eric no longer exist?" Jason wondered what being erased from existence would be like. "Ugh, what am I worrying over?! There's no way this dumb thing works!" Jason shook those thoughts from his head and hit enter.
A few moments later another message appeared. "Thank you for your service. Your wish will be granted." Jason waited for several seconds, but nothing was happening. "I knew it. Like a cell phone app can grant..." But before he finished his sentence, a bright light shone from his cell phone. "Ah!" Jason dropped his phone on his bed as the light got stronger. "Agh! It's so bright! So warm!" Jason cover his face as the light got brighter, engulfing the whole room.
