"...Succubi," the doctor finished. "The second and third confirmed case of someone turning into ones."
Mr. Turner frowned. "What are those?" he asked the term unfamiliar to him.
"Female sex demons," the doctor answered.
Sam's stomach dropped. "You mean…?"
The doctor nodded. "Apologies. Along with transforming into a monster you will also be changing gender."
"You must be joking!" Mr. Turner shouted desperately, nearly jumping out of his seat but retraining himself at the last second. "Is there any way to reverse this!?"
"There's no known cure." The doctor said simply.
Mr. Turner seemed to fall limp thinking about the repercussions of his job, while Sam couldn't help but think what everyone in school would think of him.
The doctor didn't seem fazed and instead got right down to business. "You're lucky that there is already two cases of succubus transformations. Though you are the first to change gender." He handed them each a file. "There are a few things you must understand about the succubus." He rifled through his own information while the two sat there in stunned silence. "First you will have a heightened sex drive and thrive off of sexual energy. You live off it in fact and if you don't get enough you'll find yourself getting weak. The government will provide you with what you need to sustain yourselves so you don't have to go through some… more unsavory methods."
Mr. Turner nodded, listening to every word.
"Your files contain everything you need to know about succubus biology and give you a vague understanding of what you might look like. However, a succubus can retain heat within their body better than a normal human, but it's hard for them to grow colder. As such it is recommended you wear less layers of clothing than you would normally would. Getting your body too hot, may trick it into thinking you're sick and you will come down with a fever." He flicked through a couple pages. "It's currently late winter so it's not necessary for you to wear a jacket unless it's very cold. During the summer it's recommended you wear as little clothing as possible."
"Its recommended you both take at least a week off of work and school to go to therapy and get used to your new bodies." He handed Mr. Turner a business card. "If there's any trouble contact the Department of Monsters." He looked slightly apologetic. "I'm sorry this is happening but I do hope you understand that at the end of this you'll be fine."
"Yeah right," Sam muttered bitterly.
