Jim sat down at one of the smaller tables in the middle of the food court of the busy shopping mall. It was the middle of summer, so there were a lot of parents out there taking their kids to the mall, buying new clothes before the start of the new school year. Jim was just looking out for some new people to try his cool, new, magical balloon on. He was just dying to perhaps grow some muscles on some skinny dude. He just loved having that kind of power, all thanks to this cool balloon!
So, Jim sat there, playing a video showing some new game on his iPhone when a short, nerdy kid with glasses walked by the table where Jim was seated. The kid stopped as he glanced at Jim’s cell phone screen, before walking back to Jim.
“Ohh… What game is that?” the boy asked him curiously. “That looks so cool! I love video games. I hate sports so I just play video games after school.”
“Hey! Uhhmm… This is a video showing how to play the new Resident Evil 2 video game!” Jim explained, tilting his cell phone so the boy could also see it.
“Oh, wow! It looks totally Lit! Do you have it?”
“Not yet! I’m thinking about getting it!” Jim replied with a grin.
The boy was about to respond when another lady sat down at the table next to the one where Jim was sitting.
“Kevin! Sweetie! Here is some money! Buy us two iced teas at Wendy’s, will you, please?” the lady said to the nerdy boy.
“Oh! Sure mom!” the boy responded obediently.
“Uhh… I gotta go. Thanks for showing me the video!” Kevin said to Jim, before he turned around and collected some money from his mom. Then, he stood in line at the fast food counter for a few minutes. A few minutes later, he returned carrying two cups filled with iced tea and he sat down at the table next to Jim. Jim had a clear view of the nerdy boy, who was only wearing shorts and a t-shirt with tennis shoes.
Kevin seemed short and skinny. He had no muscle at all. As Jim ended the video on his phone, he quietly grabbed the balloon and placed the spout in his mouth just when Kevin wasn’t looking. In fact, Kevin had just borrowed his mother’s cell phone so he could look up the video that Jim was watching on YouTube a minutes earlier.
While Kevin was so busy watching the video, sitting a few feet away from Jim, Jim placed the spout of the magic balloon between his fingers. The balloon was completely deflated.
“Control Kevin’s muscles” Jim whispered.
Jim placed the spout between his lips and started to inflate the balloon.
FOOOOOOOOOOOOFFF….
The balloon inflated slightly, making all of Kevin’s muscles grow, all at once. Kevin’s pecs inflated just enough to make him look like a young athlete. His arms gained definition and his abdominal muscles started to show. Kevin’s quads grew thicker and wider, making him look like a runner. He looked like a kid who had been playing sports for about a year or so by now.
“So, are you running track today?” Kevin’s mother asked him.
“Umm, yeah… I’m running in a race at school this afternoon!” Kevin replied.
Jim just smiled. So much for the nerdy boy who didn’t participate in sports! Then, he thought about what would happen if he inflated the balloon some more?
So, Jim placed the spout between his lips and blew some more.
FOOOOOOOOOOOOFFF….
The balloon grew a little bigger. What was more surprising was the way that Kevin’s muscles grew at the same time and all over his body.
Kevin’s pectorals grew even more so, really pushing out from his chest. Luckily, his shirt transformed into a bigger size, fit for an athlete like him. In fact, his t-shirt suddenly morphed into a tank top! His thicker arms now bulged with muscle, as well-defined biceps and triceps were clearly visible. His arms were like those of a young wrestler or a gymnast. His abdominal muscles resembled a washboard, with thick, deep buttons popping out on his stomach. His quads were even wider and thicker, showing cords of muscles and his calves became like big, round softballs sticking out from the back of his legs.
“So, are you going to gymnastics training today?” his mother asked him.
“Yeah, I have to practice for the rings and for the pommel horse events! I’m also due for a weight-lifting session in the gym this afternoon!” Kevin replied happily.
Jim noticed how the nerdy boy had become a lot more athletic over a period of 5 minutes.
He pulled the balloon out of his mouth and smiled.
“Release.”
Then, he sat there and pondered what to do next as Kevin sat there, eating a small meal with his mom in the food court at the mall.
