As Tad and Amy got off the bus in front of Moon Lake High with Connor and Ryan right behind them, it was impossible for them to not to notice the large crowd of people in front of the school’s entrance.
The crowd of people appeared to be circled around something or someone. It didn’t take long for Tad to realize what was going on when he saw a person in the middle throw a punch at someone else in the middle.
“What’s going on?” Connor asked Tad, looking at the crowd of people.
“A fight,” Tad responded. “It’s strange though. We don’t usually have fights here. At least, I haven’t seen or heard of any fights.”
“There’s the occasional fight every now and then,” Amy said. “But even then, they aren’t exactly common.”
Just then, a teacher ran out of the front door to the school with two security guards in tow. The guards quickly pushed aside onlookers in order to get to the center. As the crowd cleared, Tad and his friends could see the two guards each holding back a person, both males.
The teen on the left had a black right eye and a swollen lip while the teen on the right had a bloody nose. The teen on the right then proceeded to spit something small and white onto the ground.
“Was...was that a tooth?” Connor asked, sounding slightly shocked. “What was this fight even about in order for someone to lose a tooth?!”
“If I had to guess, it was on the reveal,” Amy said
The teacher quickly made his way over to where the security guards were. “What exactly happened out here?!”
“Chris started it, Mr O’Daniels!” The boy on the right said. “He threatened to expose my family!”
“What’s the big deal Nolan?!” the boy on the left snapped. “I thought this is what your family wanted! You bastards are traitors to Weres everywhere!”
Nolan tried to make a move towards Chris, but the security guard held him back.
“Both of you boys are in serious trouble!” Mr. O’Daniels said. “We’re taking you to the Principal’s office right now!”
Mr. O’Daniels led the security guards inside the school before turning to face the onlookers.
“Stop standing around and get to class!” he snapped, making everyone begin moving into the school as fast as they could.
“God…I've never seen Mr. O’Daniels like THAT,” Ryan commented as the four of them walked into school. “Looks like the reveal has divided the school…”
“If this is only what’s going on at the high school, I’m a bit worried about what’s happening in the rest of town…” Connor said quietly.
