As Lance rode his motorcycle to the setting sun, Lance could almost feel his mind relax a bit. After everything that happened with the genie, he wondered what he was going to do now. He had the mystical powers of a shapeshifter, yet had the mind of a young guy who simply wanted to spend his youth partying and being with as many hot girls as he could handle.
Tina held Lance’s chest tight as the wind blew against her hair. Despite the strange circumstance that she’s in, the girl couldn’t help but smile as she now had the power to transform into a mermaid any time she wanted. The only problem is picking just the right time to do so.
After all, she wanted her first time being a mermaid to be special.
“Lancy-kins, let’s go to the beach and transform as soon as it’s night,” she suggested.
Tina expected Lance to fight against her magic-related suggestions as usual, but she was surprised to see Lance nod silently.
“Sure,” Lance said.
As much as he was against the ridiculous ideas of magic that threatened his ideas of normalcy just a few moments before, Lance decided to at least take a dip into the pool of magic as see what it was like to be a dragon.
It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, so why not spend it with someone who was going to be a mythical creature alongside him?
Tina squealed and hugged Lance further. “You’re the best, Lance! Trust me, you’re going to love this!”
Lance couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. After what felt like weeks, Tina was starting to become the adventurous and open road girl he had come to once love. Of course, he still had a soft spot for Monica but being in the beach with Tina could help close the oceanic gap between him and his ex-girlfriend by just a little bit.
The motorcycle roared as the moon finally started to emerge and the two found a beach with plenty of parking space.
“Thank god, there’s nobody here,” Tina whispered as she got out of the vehicle and held the genie’s lamp close in her hands.
“Yeah, you’d think there’d be some security here, but I’m not complaining.” Lance shrugged as he stepped out.
The two were alone, grateful that the only thing that accompanied them was the still-warm sand and the moon that illuminated the water in front of the couple. The beach looked beautiful.
Clothes were quickly tossed aside as the two agreed that clothing was likely not going to work well transforming into a dragon and a mermaid. However, Tina was gentle in settling the lamp on the sand, not wanting to disturb the genie that gave her three wishes not too long ago.
“What do we do now?” Lance questioned as he looked around for anyone watching.
“Well, the genie said that we transform once we close our eyes and concentrate. So I thought that we should both go into the water and do just that!” Tina said with growing excitement in her voice.
Lance looked at his tattoo and then to the water, sighing as the water gave him images of Monica as a mermaid, a mermaid that could never be with him again. Tina could sense what Lance had on his mind and held his hand.
“I know this is a lot to take in, especially with the whole magic and breakup stuff. But it’s going to be so cool seeing you as a dragon.” Tina cooed.
Lance smiled. “I could say the same thing about you being a mermaid.”
The couple took a few steps towards the cold beach water until the water was waist high on their bodies. Tina closed her eyes and sighed in pleasure as she took in the cool sensations on her lower body. Lance closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he prepared for what’s about to happen.
