“It’s quite simple really” the attendant explained as he strode alongside Jenny. “We just need your help with one simple task.” Jenny shifted nervously as she feared what was in stall for her.
They rounded a corner into Jenkins’ old office, finding that the place had been ransacked. The furniture had been strewn around the room, whilst papers and boxes covered the floor. Jenny looked around in dismay, hoping that whoever did this hadn’t found what they were looking for.
Sadly, this was wishful thinking. In the corner, where a bookcase once stood, was a hidden cupboard, inside which was a secret safe. The box was made of strong steel and utilised a coded locking mechanism, thus making it almost impenetrable. Despite this, it was slightly scratched and dented as if someone had tried to open it forcefully.
“Now doc, all you have to do is give us the code. I can only imagine what secrets you’ve been keeping from us, although my money’s on that antidote you claimed was never completed. Do as you’re told and your suffering will be short-lived. Hey, we might even change you back if the antidote really is in there.”
Jenny shifted nervously, clearly reluctant to reveal what was truly inside.
“Refuse,” the man continued, “and you’ll be stuck in your heat-ridden mare body for a very long time.”
