Animalia's Birthday Celebration was considered the midway point of the IAC, and was also a lot of fun.
Probably the biggest thing there was the Animalian-safe birthday cake. It was indeed big because it not only had the enormous number of candles on it, it also had a map of the earth (made of icing) that showed where each of the current Animalian colonies were with green icing. The other thing that was on the menu were plenty of barbecue items such as burgers, hot dogs, sausages, and portabella mushrooms (for the herbivores). There were also plenty of side dishes for both carnivores and herbivores as well as Animalian-safe frozen desserts, ice cream amongst them.
Another big thing was a combined concert staring New Age Venus, Canary Diamond, and Aqua Marina. While none of their performance was sexual in any way due to the large amount of young children, it was considered a smashing success. Eventually an album of their best songs were released with the title "Animalia's Birthday Bash staring New Age Venus, Canary Diamond, and Aqua Marina.
But what was probably considered the funniest thing that was going on during the celebrations was the recordings of the birthday celebrations in other colonies of Animalia.

Mieni Atoll was celebrating it with a good old luau-style barbecue. There was the occasional mess-up where two guys try to target the same female Animalian and try to outdo each other with outlandish stunts that ended up with both guys ending up the loser.
There was also an incident where Kirana managed to successfully charm an (unwanted) suitor to walk halfway across a free fire pit where the barbecued meats were cooked and only realize what he was doing when everyone started applauding him. He ended up in the first-aid hut with first-degree burns on the soles of his feet.
There was also good music during the celebration with plenty of dancing tunes. What was considered funny was Susan and Tzan of Fun and Fins dancing, especially since Susan danced with "perfect motion" while Tzan's dancing could be considered a "total mess", leaving her with "mortal embarrassment". Susan also did her "perfect motion" that evening when it was revealed that there was a full, super moon. It ended up being a perfect photo opportunity of Susan dancing with the full moon shining perfectly behind her with the ocean holding a perfect reflection of the moon. The music she was dancing to was, fittingly, Dancing in the Moonlight and the photo op photo would eventually become a CD cover for child friendly luau music.
The highlight of the celebration was a hatching of feral leatherback sea turtles at their nesting grounds. It was something to watch them claw their way out of their nests and begin crawling to the ocean. Topanga made it clear to all spectators that there was no flash photography at all to help the hatchlings reach the ocean safely.

Maelewano's Animalia Birthday celebration was a dramatized battle between the Zande and Zulu tribes followed by a tribal-style feast. There were those who thought that the names and appearances of the African weapons were kind of stupid, but they were forgiven because those that thought that were mainly tourists.

New Zerzura's Animalia Birthday Celebration was accompanied by the official opening of the Ahmose II, The Lost Pharaoh of Egypt Exhibit. While most of the burial goods were on display, Ahmose II himself was returned to his tomb with full honors. The parts of his "last day above ground" (as some people call it) that were usually carried out by priests wearing divine masks were actually carried out by Animalians. But he wasn't completely absent from his exhibit as wax statues/dummies, (one that was of his mummy and the other being of when he was still alive) that were recreated from the most advanced CT scans taken from the studies of his mummy. Next to the life cast was a similar life cast of his father Ahmose I that showed that he was indeed the spitting image of his old man.

There wasn't too many major things going on, but there were plenty of minor things going on.
There was a minor incident where Sgt. Grail (his Animalian nickname) was thought to be Pit Bull from Tiny Toon Adventures by a group of small children from out of town. Fortunately, he was able to help them realize that he wasn't that pit bull, but because they were all under ten years old, he did play a very minor prank on them.
"I'm not that Pit Bull, he's my cousin." joked Sgt. Grail, "A couple times removed, perhaps, but cousins nonetheless. While he went into professional bodybuilding circuit, I preferred to join the military."
Meanwhile, Aurora was being interviewed on both National Geographic and Headline News because of her unique coloration, and not simply because of her being a largemouth bass Animalian.
"So your trademark 'Shine on, you crazy bass!' is not your saying but what people yell at you when you're on the stage at the Meat Market?" asked the interviewer.
"That's correct." answered Aurora.
"So has anyone managed to figure out why your scales are golden and not green, like other members of your species?" continued the interviewer.
"I was told by scientists that while most members of my species have a pigment that causes their scales to be green so they can blend in with the water," answered Aurora, "I was determined to be suffering from a recessive gene which causes me to be missing the 'blue' component of that pigment, so when other largemouth bass disappear, I shine. And THAT'S where the trademark comes from."
"So what else are you planning on doing?" asked the interviewer.
"I'm planning on going into the music industry while also advocating positive body image." replied Aurora.
"Sort of like Meghan Traynor." said the interviewer.

All together, Animalia's Birthday celebration was a way of celebrating the many achievements of Animalia and looking forward to the future. Happy Birthday Animalia.
