Up in his room, Thomas thought about what he had done. It frightened him that he could have lost himself forever. His father, once he was free, had told him to delete the app as punishment. But he hadn't done that yet.
More than ever, Thomas wanted to be an adult. But how should he do it without causing something like what happened before?
He got an idea. On the app, Thomas typed, "I wish I was twice my age and no one knew different." He hit Enter and felt a dizzy wave sweep him.
Thomas fell to the floor as the changes began. His body lengthened from his current 4'8" to 6'4". His shoulders broadened as his hips narrowed. His face started to age, becoming more mature with full lips, straight white teeth, high cheekbones, and blue eyes, and soon it was covered in blond stubble. His blond hair became smooth and perfectly stylish. Now came the biggest change. Thomas's muscles began to inflate, slowly at first, looking like little boy muscles. But the growth sped up, and his pecs swelled to watermelon size, his biceps to softball size, his thighs got very thick, and abs carved themselves into his stomach.
Thomas opened his eyes. He wasn't sure why he was on the floor. Besides, he needed something to do. He was home on break from college and on hiatus at the modeling agency. So he went and asked his little brother Cameron to play some ball with him. (Cameron, who was 9 years old, did not exist before Thomas' wish.) The boy haplily agreed as the wishing app shut itself down.
