"...turn you into a dragon." Ty said.
"A dragon?" Dustin asked.
"That's right," Ty answered. "And come to think of it, I wouldn't mind being one, too."
"But how will my parents react if they find out that their son and foster son are now legendary reptiles?" Dustin asked.
"Don't worry," Ty answered. "I'll think of something later."
"That's not very reassuring, Ty," Dustin answered.
"Well, either way," Ty breathed, "I wish that you and I would turn into dragons!"
As soon as Ty finished his wish, he and Dustin began to feel a strange sensation in their bodies. Both of them got down on all fours, their hands and feet turned into paws, two horns sprouted from each of their heads, their jaws and noses grew into large snouts, scales began growing and spreading over their skin, and tails began to grow from their backsides. But the transformations that followed differed sharply between the two of them:
Dustin grew wings, his hair disappeared, spines grew down his back, and his appearance became rather muscular.
Ty's hair grew even longer, his chin grew a beard, he sprouted two long barbels near his snout, fur grew down his back, and his body became long and serpentine.
When the transformations stopped, the two brothers got up and looked at themselves and in the nearby mirror: Dustin was now a large Western dragon, and Ty a long Eastern dragon.
